Italian Salad Recipe
1 head Romaine lettuce
1 bundle fresh spinach
1 cup of Mother Teresa’s marinated mushrooms
½ red bell pepper, sliced thin
½ cup sliced black olives
½ red onion, sliced thin
2 ripe tomatoes
½ cup diced fresh basil
1 cup croutons
1 Tablespoon grated Romano cheese
Salt & freshly ground black pepper, to taste
Generously splash on Mother Teresa’s Italian salad dressing.
Tear the romaine lettuce and spinach into pieces and mix in a large bowl.
Add the onions, mushrooms, bell pepper, olives and tomato wedges.
Toss well with the salad dressing, salt and pepper.
Sprinkle on the Romano cheese and top with croutons.
